The iPhone 4 camera has improved a lot. A.lot.
Mammoth Cave is the world’s longest cave which is located in Kentucky. We’ve walked and hiked the cave for 8 miles, 8 hours for 2 days.
I brought my DSLR on Day 1 but didn’t use it at all because the cave was too dark, and since you have to join a big group of people I really didn’t get enough time to compose a shot. No tripods allowed. So which means handheld + poor light = blurry photos. Poor foresight in my part. But I have my point and shoot in my pocket so that’s what I used for the most part of the trip.
It’s 54F inside the cave but outside it gets up to 90F. If you must have to bring your expensive camera, put it in a locked plastic bag as moist builds up too quickly as you head up the exit.
This is what I have in my iPhone home screen.
And these are my folders. There are still a lot in my iTunes but I don’t use them anymore. I get OC closing all inactive apps but Twitter, Chaos Rings, Gowalla, and Twitter stay. (Click on the pictures to make it larger.)
So what’s yours?
For just 14 bucks, I built my own light box for macro photography, and stuff I sell in eBay. Look at my budget here.

Will they blend? Yes they can!
